Hi! I'm Ishan Sheth. I am a third-year student at Georgia Tech pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Economics. With specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Modeling and Simulation, I am particularly curious about algorithms, language processing, and financial technology.

Forecasted transaction volumes for 120 consumer facing teams using Python and Facebook Prophet, providing additional documentation for eventual production deployment. Developed rules for hyperparameter tuning for each model based on advanced statistical testing and trends in data, improving model runtime by 300% and accuracy by 10%.

Currently working as a full-stack software engineering intern at Ditch, an Atlanta based startup. Working on revamping app screens using Figma and Flutter on the front end, and optimizing backend functions with Python and SQL. I am working with Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, and Flutter.

After completing a semester-long investments course, I am developing investment strategies utilizing quantitative models, contributing to the growth of a $2.1M AUM student-run endowment fund. I am utilizing Bloomberg Terminal, Excel, and Python to implement a VC2-based algorithm, managing assets valued at over $20,000.

I spent the semester researching repurposed drugs for patients with Eosinophilic esophagitis under Dr. Jeffrey Skolnick. I conducted an analysis of the Th2 and epithelial barrier dysfunction pathways and researched repurposed drug options such as monoclonal antibodies and molecules alpha-L-fucose and beta-D-glucose.

I built a production-ready tool for Splitit's sales team using Python and Jenkins to analyze hundreds of e-commerce sites. I also developed an ML model using Scikit Learn, Snowflake, and Salesforce to predict client acquisition with 85% accuracy, leading to a revamped strategy in the sales team's lead targeting.

2019: I developed a Python program to automatically read pharmaceutical labels for an automated drug delivery robot prototype.
2020: I built a Python program for MiRus’ GALILEO system to analyze MRI data and render 3D vertebrae images, allowing surgeons globally to diagnose spinal conditions.
2021: I co-authored a manuscript that evaluates the hydrophilicity and bacterial growth of the MoRe alloy for spinal implants, comparing it to industry standards.
